This is how I move a CMSMS site from my local machine onto my Internet Host machine.
Logged onto my host cpanel and opened the mysql databases application.
I then created a new database with an appropriate name - say "domain_subdomain".
On my local machine I opened phpmyadmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin/),
Click on export and select the database you want to move - left all the options as default.
Hit Go and then specified a directory for the file.
I then backed up the output file (for safety) and edited out the create database line at the beginning and change the "Use database" line to now use my new database name .. e.g. "domain_subdmain"
On the hosts cpanel I opened phpmyadmin, selected the new database and then selected import, and browsed to the edited export file on my local machine.
The cms tables should then be uploaded into the SQL database on the host.
I then uploaded all the files from the local machine to the host - can take quite a while and probably better to install the cms files direct from the installation .tar file and then install any additional modules.
Edit the config.php file for the new database settings - I add a database user to the database and use the name and password in the config.,
